Arch and heel support stabilise the foot
Enhance lower limb mechanics
Relieve knee and hip discomfort
Support long-term joint health
Developed by clinical experts and based on UK university research, these Salford Insoles are designed to improve leg alignment and reduce strain caused by Genu Varum (bow legs).
They feature a built-in 5° lateral wedge that shifts pressure away from the medial (inner) knee compartment, improving knee alignment and helping to relieve pain.
In addition, the insoles offer structured arch and heel support to stabilise the foot and promote healthier lower limb mechanics during walking.
They fit perfectly into a wide range of footwear and will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.
Insoles that do not provide lateral support will be ineffective.
ABOUT GENU VARUM
Genu Varum, commonly known as bow legs, causes the knees to angle outward during standing and walking.
This often results in increased stress on the inner (medial) knee joint and altered lower limb mechanics.
Over time, this uneven joint loading can contribute to knee discomfort, instability, and early joint degeneration.
Lateral wedge insoles are an evidence-based intervention proven to improve knee alignment and reduce medial knee loading in Genu Varum.
