Plantar Fasciitis is an inflammation caused by excessive stretching of your Plantar Fascia, the thick band of tissue that runs underneath your foot connecting the heel bone to the toes.

The pain usually worsens after exercise rather than during and can be at its most acute when you take your first few steps in the morning.

 

This common condition is caused by over-pronation (flattening of the foot) and is routinely treated to great effect with arch-support insoles that reduce the stresses on the Plantar Fascia and cure your heel pain.​
