These insoles for Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS) are from our clinical range which is in use throughout the UK podiatry profession.
They have a firm and accurately profiled arch and a deep heel cup that stabilise the foot and control overpronation.
This reduces tension on the IT band, alleviates lateral (outer) knee pain, and helps prevent recurrence during running, cycling, or other repetitive activities.
Designed to fit a wide range of footwear, they will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.
Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.
ABOUT ILIOTIBIAL BAND SYNDROME
Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS) is a common cause of outer knee pain.
The ITB runs from the hip along the outer thigh to the knee, helping to stabilise the joint during activity.
Overpronation alters knee tracking, increasing tension on the ITB and causing irritation or inflammation.
Firm arch-support insoles that control pronation are a standard intervention to reduce knee stress and restore healthy lower-limb mechanics.
