INSOLES FOR MEDIAL KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS
These insoles for medial knee osteoarthritis are part of the Salfordinsole™ clinical range, used in UK podiatry practice to reduce medial knee loading and improve stability and comfort during daily activity.
How The Insoles Work
The built-in 5° lateral wedge reduces load on the inner (medial) knee compartment by improving lower-limb alignment.
This reduces compressive force through the knee joint, easing pain and stiffness and improving mobility during activity.

Understanding Medial Knee Osteoarthritis
Medial knee osteoarthritis is caused by progressive wear of cartilage on the inner side of the knee, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced function.
It is associated with increased load through the medial knee compartment during weight-bearing activity.
Insoles with lateral wedge support reduce this load, improving function and relieving symptoms.
This may help delay the need for bracing or surgical intervention.
Insoles without lateral support will be ineffective.
