INSOLES FOR MORTON'S NEUROMA
These Salfordinsole™ insoles for Morton's Neuroma are part of our clinical range used throughout the UK podiatry profession.
Key Benefits
- Relieves forefoot nerve pain
- Reduces pressure on the affected nerve
- Redistributes load across the forefoot
- Controls excessive inward rolling (overpronation)
- Improves forefoot function
- Improves walking comfort
How The Insoles Work
They incorporate a precisely positioned metatarsal bar that lifts and separates the metatarsal heads, reducing pressure on the affected nerve.
Firm arch support and a deep heel cup stabilise the foot and control overpronation, limiting the forces that drive forefoot compression.
This reduces nerve irritation and promotes more even load distribution across the forefoot.
Fit & Comfort
- Individually sized
- Designed to fit most footwear
- Antimicrobial top cover provides grip and moisture control
Understanding Morton's Neuroma
Morton’s neuroma occurs when a nerve between the metatarsal bones - most commonly between the third and fourth toes - becomes compressed.
This causes burning pain, tingling, or numbness in the forefoot, often worsened by walking or tight footwear.
Excessive inward rolling (overpronation) increases pressure through the metatarsal heads, contributing to ongoing nerve irritation.
Metatarsal bar insoles reduce pressure on the affected nerve and improve forefoot load distribution.
