INSOLES FOR PATELLOFEMORAL PAIN SYNDROME

(Runner's Knee)

Key Benefits

  • Reduces stress on the knee
  • Improves kneecap tracking
  • Controls overpronation
  • Restores lower-limb biomechanics
  • Developed by UK podiatrists
  • Will never need replacing

These insoles for Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) are part of our clinical range, used widely in UK podiatry clinics.

How They Work

They have a firm, precise arch and deep stabilising heel cup that control overpronation and realign the foot, ankle, and knee.

This improves kneecap tracking, reduces anterior knee pain, and restores lower-limb biomechanics, allowing the lower limb to absorb impact naturally.

Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.

Fit & Durability

Individually sized to fit a wide range of footwear, these insoles are machine washable and built to last.

You will never need to replace them.

Understanding Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome

PFPS (also known as Runner's Knee) is a common cause of anterior knee pain in runners, athletes, and anyone exposed to repetitive knee loading.

When the foot overpronates (rolls inwards excessively), internal leg rotation alters kneecap tracking and increases stress across the knee and surrounding tissues (patellofemoral joint).

This leads to irritation, inflammation, and pain around or behind the kneecap - often aching or sharp and worsened by activity.

Firm arch-support insoles that control pronation are a standard clinical treatment.

They address the mechanical cause and restore lower-limb biomechanics, allowing the knee to absorb impact naturally.
