PRODUCT INFORMATION
Developed by UK podiatrists
Reduce tendon strain
Prevent overpronation
Relieve foot & joint pain
Increase stability & mobility
Improve foot biomechanics
Developed by clinical experts and based on UK university research, these uniquely effective insoles will reduce tendon strain and restore foot stability in Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction (PTTD).
Their firm and accurate arch profile and deep heel cup provide structured medial arch support, reducing stress on the tibialis posterior tendon, stabilising the feet, and preventing further collapse of the arches.
Designed to fit perfectly into a wide range of footwear, they will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.
Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.
ABOUT POSTERIOR TIBIAL TENDON DYSFUNCTION
PTTD is a common condition where the tibialis posterior tendon, which supports the medial arch of the foot, becomes inflamed, strained, or degenerative.
It is predominantly caused by overpronation (flattening and excessive inward rolling of the foot during gait).
Typical symptoms include pain, swelling, or stiffness along the inside of the ankle and foot, difficulty standing on tiptoe, and discomfort during walking, running, or prolonged standing.
If left untreated, PTTD can cause progressive arch collapse and trigger a range of secondary biomechanical problems.
Firm, arch support insoles that control pronation are a standard intervention.
