SUPINATION INSOLES
Key Benefits
- Controls supination
- Stabilises the ankle
- Prevents lateral ankle sprains
- Promotes natural foot biomechanics
- Improves stability & gait
- Developed by UK podiatrists
These insoles for supination are part of our clinical range, used widely used in UK podiatry clinics.
How They Work
They incorporate a built-in 5° lateral wedge to support the outer edge of the foot.
This controls outward roll and improves lateral ankle stability, reducing the risk of sprains and promoting natural gait and foot biomechanics.
Fit & Durability
The insoles are individually sized and designed to fit a wide range of footwear.
They are machine washable and will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.
Understanding Supination
Supination occurs when the foot rolls outward, increasing stress on the outer foot and ankle.
This can destabilise the ankle, increase lateral sprain risk, and affect posture and gait.
Lateral wedge insoles help prevent outward rolling, stabilise the ankle, and restore natural lower-limb biomechanics.
Insoles without lateral support will be ineffective.
Clinical Pedigree
This is a registered medical device, used in UK podiatry clinics for over 15 years and available direct to the public since 2020.
