INSOLES FOR UNDERPRONATION
Key Benefits
- Developed by UK podiatrists
- Controls underpronation (supination)
- Stabilises the ankle
- Helps prevent lateral ankle sprains
- Improves stability & gait
- Promotes natural foot biomechanics
Engineered to control underpronation, these insoles are part of our clinical range and are widely used in UK podiatry clinics.
How They Work
The Salfordinsole incorporates a built-in 5° lateral wedge to support the outer edge of the foot.
This controls outward roll, stabilises the ankle, and reduces the risk of lateral sprains, promoting a more stable and natural gait.
Fit & Durability
The insoles are individually sized for an optimal, secure fit.
They are machine washable and built to perform consistently, so you will never need to replace them.
Understanding Underpronation
Underpronation, or supination, occurs when the foot rolls outward, increasing stress on the outer foot and ankle.
This reduces shock absorption, destabilises the ankle, and increases the risk of lateral sprains.
Lateral wedge insoles support the outer foot, control outward roll, and promote natural foot biomechanics.
Insoles without lateral support will be ineffective.
