HOW SALFORDINSOLE™ INSOLES TREAT PLANTAR FASCIITIS
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain.
It develops when repeated strain is placed on the plantar fascia – the thick band of tissue that supports the arch of the foot.
Overpronation (excessive inward rolling of the foot) is a common underlying cause because it increases this strain during walking, standing and other weight-bearing activities.
Salfordinsole™ Insoles feature a firm, precisely contoured arch and deep heel cup designed to support the arch of the foot and control overpronation.
By controlling overpronation and improving foot alignment, they reduce strain on the plantar fascia to alleviate heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis.
WHY FIRM ARCH SUPPORT?
Firm orthotic arch support is needed to control overpronation.
Soft, unsupportive insoles compress under body weight and cannot effectively control the way the foot moves.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will they fit my shoes?
They are individually sized and designed to fit most everyday footwear, including trainers, walking shoes, work shoes, boots and many casual shoes.
Why not focus on cushioning?
Because adding cushioning only attempts to treat the symptoms and not the cause. Your heel has built-in cushioning in the form of fatty padding, which will be positioned correctly by these insoles.
Do I need custom-made orthotics?
For many people, no. A well-designed prefabricated orthotic can provide effective support without the cost of a custom-made device. If you have complex foot problems or significant deformity, professional assessment is recommended.
How long should I wear them?
For best results, wear the insoles whenever practical during walking, standing and other weight-bearing activities. Consistent support reduces the repeated mechanical strain placed on the plantar fascia.
