INSOLES FOR FALLEN ARCHES
These Salfordinsole™ insoles for fallen arches are part of our clinical range used throughout the UK podiatry profession.
Key Benefits
- Supports the arch under load
- Controls excessive inward rolling (overpronation)
- Improves lower limb alignment
- Reduces strain through the feet, ankles, and knees
- Reduces overuse-related foot and heel pain
- Improves stability during walking
How The Insoles Work
They have a firm, anatomically contoured arch and a deep heel cup that support the arch, stabilise the foot, and control inward collapse of the foot.
This improves alignment under load and reduces strain through the feet and lower limbs.
Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.
Fit & Durability
- Individually sized
- Slim profile – fits most footwear
- Machine washable
- Durable, long-lasting design
Understanding Fallen Arches
Fallen arches occur when the foot’s natural arch collapses under load, leading to loss of structural support and causing the foot to roll excessively inward (overpronation).
This changes normal foot mechanics and increases strain through the feet and lower limbs, contributing to conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon pain, shin splints, and knee pain.
It may also lead to fatigue, reduced stability, and ongoing discomfort in the feet and lower limbs.
Firm arch-support insoles are a standard clinical intervention used to support the arch, control overpronation, and reduce strain under load.
