How They Work
The Salfordinsole has a firm, precisely contoured arch and a deep heel cup designed to stabilise the foot and control overpronation - a primary mechanical cause of Hallux Limitus.
This improved alignment restores the range of motion of the big toe joint, reduces stress on the joint, and relieves big toe pain.
Fit & Durability
The insoles are individually sized and designed to fit a wide range of footwear.
They are machine washable and will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.
Understanding Hallux Limitus
Hallux Limitus is a common condition that causes pain, stiffness, and limited movement in the big toe joint, especially when walking.
Overpronation (when the foot rolls inward excessively) restricts the toe’s motion and increases stress on the joint.
Over time, the joint may stiffen, become more painful, and sometimes form a small bony bump on top.
Firm, arch-support insoles that control overpronation are a standard clinical treatment to reduce joint strain and restore the toe's natural movement.
Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.
