The Salford Insole for Hallux Limitus (Pair)

PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • Developed by podiatrists

  • Unrivalled arch support

  • Prevents overpronation

  • Restores big toe joint motion

  • Improves forefoot mobility

  • Reduces joint loading & pain

Developed by clinical experts and based on UK university research, these precisely profiled insoles are designed to control overpronation and restore natural movement at the big toe joint.

By improving foot posture and joint mechanics, they reduce strain on the first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint - helping to relieve pain, restore mobility, and reduce the risk of long-term degeneration.

The insoles will fit perfectly into a wide range of footwear and will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.

Soft, non-supportive insoles will not address the underlying cause.

ABOUT HALLUX LIMITUS

Hallux Limitus is a condition where movement at the big toe joint becomes restricted, often causing stiffness, pain, and the development of a bony enlargement over the joint.

Overpronation (excessive inward rolling of the foot) flattens the arch during walking, limiting toe-off and increasing pressure on the joint.

Over time, this leads to cartilage wear, joint pain, and reduced mobility.

Arch support insoles are a widely used and clinically proven treatment.

If left untreated, Hallux Limitus can develop into Hallux Rigidus - a more advanced condition where the joint becomes severely restricted or immobile.
