HOW THE INSOLES WORK
 
The insoles feature firm, contoured arch support and a deep heel cup to stabilise the foot and control excessive inward rolling (overpronation).
 
This reduces strain through the big toe joint and allows the toe to move more freely during walking, relieving hallux limitus pain.
 
Soft, non-supportive insoles do not provide the firm support needed to control excessive foot movement and reduce this strain.
 
WHAT IS HALLUX LIMITUS?
 
Hallux limitus causes pain, stiffness and restricted movement in the big toe joint, often with a bony enlargement on top of the joint.
 
Excessive inward rolling of the foot (overpronation) during walking can restrict movement of the big toe at push-off.
 
This increases strain through the joint and can make walking painful.
 
Firm arch support controls overpronation, reduces strain through the big toe joint and allows the toe to move more freely.
