Relief for Shin Splints
Reduces stress on the shin
Controls overpronation
Restores lower limb biomechanics
Prevents recurrence & injury
Developed by UK podiatrists
These insoles for Shin Splints are from our clinical range which is in use throughout the UK podiatry profession.
They have a firm, accurate arch profile and a deep heel cup that stabilise the foot, control overpronation and reduce strain on the shin.
This restores natural foot mechanics, allowing the foot and ankle to disperse ground force reaction, and protects the sensitive tissues of the shin - relieving pain and restoring mobility.
The insoles will fit perfectly into a wide range of footwear, and will work consistently and indefinitely, so you will never need to replace them.
Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.
ABOUT SHIN SPLINTS
Shin splints (medial tibial stress syndrome) result from repeated stress to the muscles and connective tissues along the shinbone.
This is caused by overpronation, when the foot rolls excessively inwards and increases stress on the lower leg.
Symptoms include pain along the front or inner part of the lower leg, ranging from a dull ache to sharp, stabbing sensations during or after exercise, often worst during cooldown.
Podiatrists prescribe firm arch-support insoles that control pronation to relieve shin pain and restore lower-limb biomechanics.
