How They Work
 
The Salfordinsole has a firm, precise arch profile and a deep heel cup that stabilise the foot and control overpronation - a primary mechanical cause of shin splints.
 
By restoring natural foot biomechanics, this allows forces to be absorbed at the foot and ankle rather than transmitted to the shin.
 
This relieves pain, improves mobility and helps prevent recurrence.

Understanding Shin Splints
 
Shin splints (medial tibial stress syndrome) are a common overuse injury caused by repetitive stress on the shinbone.
 
Symptoms include pain along the inner edge of the shin, tenderness, swelling, and discomfort during walking or running.
 
Overpronation, when the foot rolls inwards excessively, increases rotational forces through the lower leg, placing extra strain on the shin.
