Developed by clinical experts and based on UK academic research, these insoles provide targeted support for children with Osgood Schlatter Disease.

How They Work

The Salfordinsole features a firm, precisely contoured arch and deep heel cup to stabilise the foot and control excessive inward rolling (overpronation).

This improves lower-limb alignment, reduces strain on the patellar tendon, and eases pressure on the growing bone - helping the knee function more comfortably during activity.

Fit & Durability

The insoles are individually sized and designed to fit a wide range of footwear.

They are machine washable and built to perform consistently over time, so you will never need to replace them.

Understanding Osgood Schlatter Disease

Osgood Schlatter Disease causes pain and swelling just below the kneecap, where the patellar tendon attaches to the shinbone.

It most commonly affects active children and teenagers during periods of rapid growth.

Overpronation (when the foot rolls inward excessively) increases strain on the patellar tendon, placing added stress on the developing bone.

This can lead to pain, tenderness, and a prominent bump below the knee, often worse during activity.

Firm arch-support insoles that control pronation reduce tendon strain, relieve discomfort, and support more stable, efficient movement during growth.

Some children may also experience growth-related heel pain, known as Sever's Disease.
