PRODUCT INFORMATION
Relieves heel pain
Reduces Achilles strain
Controls overpronation
Supports healthy foot growth
Improves balance & stability
Developed by UK podiatrists
Developed by clinical experts and based on UK university research, these accurately profiled insoles provide targeted support for children with Sever’s Disease.
Firm, consistent arch support, combined with a deep heel cup stabilises the heel, controls pronation, and improves foot mechanics.
This reduces strain on the Achilles tendon and protects the heel’s growth plate from repetitive stress, easing pain and supporting recovery during growth.
Soft, non-supportive insoles will be ineffective.
ABOUT SEVER'S DISEASE
Sever’s disease (calcaneal apophysitis) is a common cause of heel pain in active children during growth spurts.
It occurs when the heel's growth plate becomes irritated by repetitive stress and tension from the Achilles tendon, caused by overpronation (excessive inwards rolling of the foot).
Symptoms include pain at the back or underside of the heel, which worsens with activity and improves with rest.
It isn't uncommon for active, growing children to also develop Osgood Schlatter Disease.
Firm, arch support insoles that improve foot biomechanics and relieve heel tension provide an effective, temporary solution until growth stabilises.
